Cannabis Clinics provide assessment and counselling for individuals concerned about their cannabis use. They also offer education, support and brief counselling to family members affected by cannabis use.

At a Cannabis Clinic you’ll find Information for health and welfare professionals as well as community groups.

They can also provide specialised treatment for people with co-existing cannabis and mental health issues.

Cannabis Clinic staff

The Cannabis Clinic is staffed by trained counsellors and medical support is available.

Who can access the Cannabis Clinics?

Any person over 16 years of age who wants to stop or reduce their cannabis use can contact the clinic.

The clinics also provide assistance to parents and partners, people who have co-existing cannabis and mental health issues, generalist health and welfare professionals who require information on cannabis and anyone requiring information, support and brief counselling regarding cannabis use.

How much will it cost?

The Cannabis Clinics are a free and confidential service.

Referrals

Individuals can self refer. Referrals are also accepted from GP’s, health and welfare professionals and family members.
